Pre-trial date for Amanda Bynes' DUI case set for February
A Los Angeles judge has set a tentative date Amanda Bynes " driving under the influence ( DUI) for the next month ( Feb14 ) .
The Hairspray star besieged punishable arrest in April 2012, when he was arrested for allegedly drag next to a police car in California.
If last summer (13 ) was delayed when Bynes was hospitalized for a mental health evaluation after weeks of erratic behavior , and at the time, his lawyer Richard Hutton argues that his client did not the mental capacity to understand the nature of judicial proceedings.
However, it was deemed fit to stand trial in November (13 ), and now Judge Edward Moreton Los Angeles County , Jr. decided the case of crime will go ahead with the preliminary hearing on Feb. 20 (14 ) .
Representatives Bynes , who pleaded not guilty, have not yet comment on the latest developments in the case , but sources say the New York Daily News that prosecutors working with the legal team to develop a defendant plea deal that would maintain the 27 years in prison.
Bynes , who was placed under the temporary guardianship of his mother , Lynn, was discharged from mental health in early December (13) and is now recovering at his parents' home in California.
The charge of DUI is not the only concern legal actress - who also faces a count in a separate case , after a police raid on his apartment in New York last May (13). She is responsible for reckless endangerment , tampering with evidence and possession of marijuana after , seems to throw a water pipe outside his window.
